Just got your Christmas Card and I wanted to say thank you.

Your camp ground has always held a special place in our hearts as it was our first stop when we started camping years ago when our boys were small.

Now both are grown and have campers of their own. Our last trip for 2011 was at the Halloween Weekend and it will be a memorable one. Our Oldest son proposed to his girlfriend while we were there. Thank you for all the old and new memories and may you all have a very happy holiday

We just want to comment how wonderful the employees' were at Granite Hill on the weekend of October 27th-30th. When we got there on Thursday, October 27th we were having problems getting on our site and two employees came up and ask if we needed help and we said yes. They were amazing. Thoughout the weekend they were all very helpful even with all the snow we got and the power outage. They still had plenty of activities for us and the kids. You couldn't ask or stay at a better campground. Thank you Granite Hill.

Our campsite was perfect and very clean. The bathrooms and showers were also perfect and very clean. Your prices for everything (ice, breakfast, etc.) were very reasonable. The activities were interesting. We will be back!

We were originally setting up camp at B28 until we spoke with you and found out there was no water supply to that area in the off-season. You graciously moved us to another “unopen” campsite at A2 and turned on the water supply for us. Our four-day Easter weekend was spectacular. Hi to all at Granite Hill!

I just want to thank you all for helping us enjoy such a wonderful weekend this past week. We have been coming to Granite Hill annually for a Halloween weekend for about 8 or 9 years now. This year our group had 7 sites in the Main Camp area and we all had a blast, both kids and adults! The staff was wonderful, accommodating, and friendly during the entire event and during all our visits and calls prior to the event as we finalized our sites. You even made our day guests on Saturday feel so welcome! I know it is a lot of work and effort dealing with all the folks and I for one really appreciate your kindness and patience. Next year we have already booked 9 sites, as our group keeps growing and everyone wants to get in on the fun!

I know you still have 2 weekends to go for the Halloween event, but I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the first weekend and let you know what a great job you are doing!

I am writing to compliment you on the cleanliness of the restrooms, pool, and park in general this past weekend. (The lady who cleaned the restrooms deserves a bonus!) Some of our friends who came for the first time were really impressed with your facilities.

My husband and I have been attending your Fall Bluegrass Festival for seventeen years, and the restrooms haven't been that clean in years. As in the past, we thoroughly enjoyed the music all weekend. It was great!

I just attended the bluegrass festival this past Friday and Saturday at your campground. Although I live in Harrisburg and love bluegrass, I never got around to going. I didn’t know what to expect, but what I experienced was nothing short of remarkable.

For two days I enjoyed wonderful music by talented musicians. Not once did I hear any profanity nor coarse humor from the musicians or hosts. It was like going back in time fifty years. For two days I escaped the problems of the world. Although I didn’t drink alcohol at the festival, I appreciated knowing I could. The people that did drink acted the same as those that didn’t. What a refreshing change … people taking advantage of something given them and not abusing it!

The American public would have learned a lesson on manners and conduct from your festival.

Pleased be assured I will be attending your wonderful event twice per year from now on. My only request is you keep the music just the way it is.

This is a place for kids! It was Halloween weekend and there were tons of kids even though it was cold, wet, and windy. They have all kinds of spots from full hook-up 50-amp sites to tent and seasonal camping. The place is huge. The pool was closed, but it looked nice. They have huge fields for all kinds of sports. The staff was helpful and friendly. From talking to some of the campers, it seems like it’s a really fun place to be in the summer.

We just returned from three days of camping with you, and I wanted to let you know our experience there was FANTASTIC! Our kids, ages 11 and 15, enjoyed golf, swimming and the game room; and my husband and I enjoyed golf and just relaxing! The ghost tour lady was GREAT! We were in Gettysburg 4 years ago and took an in-town tour, and it suffered by comparison to this year’s tour. (Very much so!)

I just thought you would like to know how much we loved our stay with you. We will absolutely recommend you to anyone we know traveling that way, and will come see you again soon! Thanks again!
