Summer Employment Virtual Open House

We will be hosting and online Open House from February 1 through February 15. Please submit your application via the Employment section of our website beginning February 1st, the earlier the better. We will review application through February 15th. Positions are available in the Red Shed Cafe and at the Adventure Golf Course. You must be 16 years old to apply due to state regulations for our liquor license. Weekend and evening shifts are required of all co-workers. Granite Hill's camping season runs from March 30 - November 17, 2012! We are looking forward to an exciting camping season at Granite Hill and loads of entertainment at Sterling Pavilion! 1/1/2012

Great News for 2012!

In response to customer surveys Granite Hill has made some great changes for 2012! Changes to our rate structure and cancellation policy that may be of interest to you include: Rate: Rates are now based on a family of 4 (maximum 2 adults), One camping unit and One small kids' tent per site! Discounts: We now offer a Military discount and a Midweek Discount. Midweek Discount: camp 2 nights and get the 3rd night free. (valid Monday-Thursday only) restrictions apply. Cancellations: 14 days notice required for a refund less a $10 service charge or new for 2012 you may transfer your deposit to a new reservation within the current camping season. Deposits may not be applied to existing reservations. Check-Out time: Check out time for the Bed and Breakfast is now 12 NOON. Bike Week: Changes have been made to Bike Week Package pricing and additional packages are being offered this year. The bike week section of our website should be fully updated by January 15th! Inclement Weather Voucher

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the absolutely incredible weather event this past weekend, we are currently offering a voucher for a free weekend in November to any customer who was compelled to leave Granite Hill early. We share your dissappointment that one of the most enjoyable weekends of the camping season was disrupted. We sincerely hope that many will take advantage of this offer and visit us in November. 20 additional reserved seats have just been released for the Phil Vassar concert this Sunday at Sterling Pavilion. They can only be purchased by calling the box office: 1-800-642-8368. Phil Vassar coming to Granite Hill

Country Super Star and 2 time ASCAP Songwriter of the year Phil Vassar is coming to the newly named "Sterling Pavilion" at Granite Hill. For years, the Granite Hill stage has played host to some of the largest names in Bluegrass. Now, we're welcoming national recording artist Phil Vassar. Tickets go on-sale Friday, June 24th at 9am through granitehillcampingresort.com. The concert is presented by Great Country 107.7 and Napa Auto Parts of Gettysburg, Hanover and Taneytown. Ticket prices: $25 - general admission, $56.50 - reserved seating VIP tickets: $600 for table of 8 - Includes: wait service, free food, VIP parking, and back stage meet & greet passes. $500 Chili Cook-off set for April

We're proud to announce our first $500 Chili Cook-off event to be held on April 30, 2011! Whether you're a pro, or just the average "joe", Granite Hill is giving you the chance to be a Chili Champ. Entry forms are now available to download online through the official Chili Cook-off page. 1/8/2011

Gettysburg Bike Week at Granite Hill

Gettysburg Bike Week organizers have announced the event will have a new home in 2011. The four-day event, which draws between 15,000 to 25,000 people each year, is moving to Granite Hill Camping Resort along Route 116 in Highland Township between Gettysburg and Fairfield from July 7-10, 2011. Four-day camping packages with tickets included will be available at Granite Hill. Packages will go on sale Febuary 1st and can be booked on-line. More information and a schedule of events will be available through the Gettsyburg Bike Week website www.gettysburgbikeweek.com as the event draws closer. 11/20/2010

Remembrance Day

The battle of Gettysburg is portrayed each July with a reenactment. This event in November pays respect to those who lost their lives in that battle. Be transported back to November 1863 as hundreds of reenactors, representing soldiers and civilians, fill the town. Just as it was the weekend Lincoln dedicated the cemetery. Events include the soldiers' parade, book signings, encampments, the cemetery illumination, and even victorian balls. 11/19/2010

Dedication Day
