If you missed the pool party in June, you won’t want to miss this Super Soaker Bash. Summer is here and there’s nothing better than taking a refreshing dip in the pool and enjoying a free poolside cookout all while listening to pop tunes brought to you by DJ Jamey. Make sure you pick up your lunch tickets at the camp store upon your arrival. The MARYLAND SCIENCE CENTER will be here Friday night performing an interactive show for kids of all ages The kids and adults alike love the pool party. Also enjoy a Ghost Walk Thursday.
THURSDAY
8:30 pm Ghost Walk...Meet your tour guide through the paranormal on the rec. hall porch at 8:15 for a walking tour
FRIDAY
3 p.m. Check-In... Pick up your tickets to the poolside cookout, good for
a free hot dog and drink as well as door prizes.
7:00 p.m. Maryland Science Center - Brain Benders: Can you walk through a piece of paper? Is it possible to balance on light bulbs without breaking them? You will be surprised as you start look- ing at everyday objects through scientific eyes.
7:30 p.m. Campfire Social...or if you’d rather be outdoors, come to the fire pit by the ship playground for S’mores and casual conversation. (weather permitting)
SATURDAY
11 a.m. - 2 pm Sand Sculpture contest.. Sign up at the office for your plot of sand on the volleyball court and make your best sand castle, dragon, so- lar system; whatever! Judging will take place between 2 and 3. Prizes awarded at 3 p.m.
Noon - 2 p.m. Poolside Cookout... Bring your ticket to the
shuffleboard court for a free hot dog and drink. Bring
your own snacks and/or side dishes.
Noon - 3 p.m. Pool Party... DJ Jamey will provide the music. Door prizes!
Hula hoop, jump rope, and limbo contests at about 1:30.
3:30 p.m. Horseshoe Tournament...We will draw for partners.
Meet at the horseshoe pits. Win ribbons and prizes.
4 p.m. Hayride... Meet at the shuffleboard court.
7 p.m. -10 p.m. Karaoke with D.J. John on the basketball court or in the rec hall weather permitting.
SUNDAY
8 - Noon Pancake Breakfast...at the snack bar—$4.50.
11 a.m. Hayride ...Meet at the shuffleboard court.
11 a.m. Cabin Check out
2 p.m. Site Check out
MONDAY
6 - 7 p.m. Ice Cream Social... On the snack bar porch. Enjoy a free
scoop of the flavor of your choice —
and conversation with fellow campers.
