Gettysburg Bluegrass Festivals

May 17 - 20th & August 16 - 19th 2012

The Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival was founded in 1979 by Joe & Lil Cornett and is now operated by Rich and Cyndie Cornett Winkelmann and their dedicated staff. Originally a three day event held in early May and mid September, the festival ultimately expanded to four days and moved to mid May and late August, when it is currently presented. 2012 marks the 64th and 65th festivals over 34 years of outstanding bluegrass entertainment as one of the longest running bluegrass festivals in the United States.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all attendees, artists, and staff who helped make the 2011 Gettysburg Bluegrass Festivals a HUGE success! We experienced world class performances from Rhonda Vincent, Dailey & Vincent, Mountain Heart and many, many others. The new stage has been extremely well received and the damp weather didn't dampen any spirits. The All Star Jam was one of the biggest ever. We've never seen so many people "jammed" into the tent. Too many outstanding moments to list. You just have to see and hear for yourself.
